Well we had a great weekend! Salina was fun as always just a little colder then usual for August! It kind of made it nice though! Got there Friday and just chilled and was able to watch some friends in the extreme 15 race!! Meka would have won it but hit the 3rd.. But it was a beautiful run they made!
Saturday there was a new arena record set which just killed us for any money! Scooter ran good just not fast enough for money and Harley I think forgot it was a timed event! I have know idea what he was doing! Then came the part we all love... The MENS Race! We were alittle worried that Scooter was sore but we decided he would be okay after watching him.. So Ter saddled up I had him ride in one of my saddles just for Scoot being alittle body sore. So off they went! Brit and I went out to coach Ter of course and tell him to not hold him and actually let him run and not hit barrels! and to make sure he whips! Well it was there turn so our section was ready to cheer him on! Well he can him running and it was beautiful wow it was beautiful (did not get to film it.. busy with Brit!) as they left the arena with all 3 standing and all of us screaming and cheering he stopped the clock at 16.1!! The fastest time Scooter has ever ran in there! Ter and scoot kicked my ass on time both days! I ran 16.3 both days! So Terry and Scooter had a beautiful run and a awesome time!! But know money! He ended up 6th and they paid 4 places! It was so much fun and I am so proud of both of them! Now I just need to have Ter teach me to ride my own horse and so I can beat his time next year!
